Stephen, Michelle, and their team were fantastic. After the February storm ripped out the central trunk of our macrocarpa, we were left in a dangerous position, with the remaining structure at risk of falling directly onto our neighbour’s house.

Stephen provided a clear, thorough report for our insurance, which was incredibly helpful during a stressful time. When we were ready to proceed, the team worked efficiently and professionally, taking down the multi-trunked tree and cutting it up in just a day and a half.

The whole process was smooth, and the sense of relief once it was safely dealt with was huge. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing expert arborist work.

We have a good sized section in Eastbourne with beautiful trees and native bush. We regularly use Steve and the team at Armes and have found them to be professional and reliable with a passion for what they do. We have used their services to trim and prune trees, remove trees and stumps in need, and for specialist advice in regard to tree health. They take away all the trimmings and leave the area nice and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Certainly way way better than the butchers our neighbors use!

REALLY VALUE THE SKILLS OF AN ABORIST!

We have had the pleasure of contracting Steve and Michelle on a couple of occasions in the last couple of years. Our first foray into looking for an arborist was for a sad and dejected, and what seemed to be a slowly dying, Kowhai tree which was much loved. We thought that it would need to be removed, however Steve was certain it could be saved. Pleased to say that thanks to Steve’s vast knowledge of all things tree our beautiful Kowhai is flourishing again.

Due to the great service we received there was no-one else we would use when we moved to our new home with its very overgrown and unloved garden. Armes Trees removed some rotten, dangerous trees, pruned those that needed a bit of TLC and advised on the removal of a Huge evergreen tree that was blocking light and smothering other trees and shrubs.

All work was done with thought to the surrounding trees, plants and buildings with the space left clear and undamaged. We couldn’t ask for a more professional and knowledgeable group of people and would highly recommend them.
